I have always been drawn to creation in every form. Whether through gymnastics, music, art, performance, athletics, or events, I have always believed that meaningful work comes from the union of discipline and creativity. That belief has shaped every stage of my journey, and it is the same belief that led me to jewellery.
Over time, I noticed something deeply familiar in many families — old jewellery, heirloom pieces, and ornaments passed down through generations were often kept away, unworn. Not because they had lost their worth, but because they no longer felt aligned with the way people live and dress today. Yet these pieces continued to hold immense emotional value — memories, blessings, family history, and legacy.
I saw in this not only a problem, but a purpose. I believed that jewellery with such meaning deserved to be worn, lived in, and cherished again. That thought became the foundation of Durga Jewels by Mittal — a brand built on reimagining old, inherited, and unused jewellery into modern, wearable designs while preserving the essence of what they once were.
For me, this journey was never only about creating jewellery. It was about building trust. In India, jewellery is far more than ornamentation — it is emotion, tradition, celebration, and investment woven into one. It marks milestones, tells stories, and carries the values of generations. That is why I have always believed this business must stand on honesty, craftsmanship, relationships, and responsibility.
At Durga Jewels by Mittal, my mission is to create jewellery that feels deeply personal — pieces that are not only beautiful, but meaningful. I want every client to feel heard, guided, and respected. I strongly believe that a customer who understands what they are buying is the most valued customer of all. That is why transparency, education, and thoughtful guidance remain central to everything we do.
As we continue to grow, my vision for DJM is clear: to take this trust-led and deeply personal approach to more people across India and, over time, across the world.
